Quest at Level 30: Connection of Souls
Goal: Kill (mob name here) and retrieve the stolen Soulgem
Equip for Flight: Soulgem
Effect: Transform into a dragon (therefore, Winged Elves and Tideborn keep the wings, and Untamed keep the bestial mounts.)
Story: After the birth of the Draconian, the dragons began viewing us as brother- and sister-kin. They helped to teach us the ways of the dragons that we had been fused with, and we were better able to cope. In return, the dragons trusted us with one of their biggest secrets.
When dragons die, the soul leaves the body and travels to a secret burial cave filled with gems of varying colors. The dragon's soul inhabits one of these gems. The dragons said that if your will is strong enough and your soul pure enough, you will be able to connect with the soul in the gem. If you are able to do this, you will be allowed to keep the Soulgem, and the dragon's soul inside will give you a gift of great power.
Only the Draconian, as Dragonkin, are allowed to possess a these gems. But we recently received a report that (mob name here) have stolen a Soulgem. We fear they are trying to connect with the dragon inside and use the power for their own malicious intentions. Worse yet, if they destroy the gem, the dragon's soul will be lost forever. Go and retrieve the stolen Soulgem from the (mob name here). Once you have it, bring it back to me and I will assess it for damage.
Text When Turning in Quest: Well done. Thanks to you, the Soulgem has been retrieved without any damage. By rescuing it, the dragon inside has made a strong connection with your soul. As such, the gem is now yours to keep. The Soulgem will give you the power of flight. Guard it well.
